Membership

A membership can be applied to a service or benefit like shul seats, exclusive content from a creator and more, a price must be set and many products and subscriptions can be added. Creators can choose single or multiple tiers.

memberships and subscriptions can be a single feature or use the same underlying function to charge the user a reaquring charge however the surface feature difers, memebrships are benifits related and do frequency channot be changed, while subscptions are products or serves baces and the user chooses it;s frequency. regardless of the frenceny, the user can choose to pay monthly or yearly.

User Story​

As a busy user I don’t want to watch but rather listen to a podcast, however, when I hear a voice I don’t recognize, I want to take a glance at my phone to see a name and/or photo of who is talking or maybe ask the built-in “AI/assistant”.

Benefits​

Ads The user can offer Reduced ads or No ads, if there are more than one tier, the first taier cannot offer no ads.

Discounts

The user can offer discounts, a discount can apply to everything from the creator or on a simgle item, type or category, (e.g.

  • 10% off "show name"
  • 5 off products
  • 15% on content
  • 8% off suscriptions on socks)

discounts can also e difrent per tier (e.g. Tier 1

  • 5% off all products Tier 2
  • 10% off all products
  • 5% off all content )
Details

Early Release the user can release content erly, this applies only to content set y the user or if a show is lonked to a tierd release plan.

The user can set a time per tier (e.g. teir 1 1 weeks early tier 2 2 weeks early)

Exclusives the user can set an entire show to be exclusive or if the show is paid content it can e free with a Membership. the user can also add additional content that is exclusive like "behind the scenes"

Extended Schedule

Creators can give access or extend access to Timed Shows (e.g. if a show release is available for 1 week a membership can extent it by a week giving the user two week to watch before it disappears)

Custom the creator can write thier own custome benefit, however it will not be garenteed or automated by hudi. (offer the creator to set a reminder or an upload function, and other ways to delivaer the benifit)

Subscription should the creator already have an available sucsciprion, it can be included or offered as a discounted add-on/boundle

Seat the user can assign a seat this could e used for congragations, events, etc.
